My IVF consult!!
Well we are back from the consult and it went SO much better then expected. NO BCP's for me which means I will start injects on cd3 which should be a week from today That puts ER around the end of the first week in Dec and I should know if I am pregnant by Christmas. I am in shock!! The RE said becuase I am so young, healthy, and at a normal BMI she would be suprised if I don't get pregnant. She also said she only wants to put one in because she is pretty confident if she puts two back we will get pregnant with twins. Well we would be ok with twins so we asked if we could take that chance (not to mention I dont want to go through all of this and risk only putting one back). She said it's our choice so I think we'll go with two!! Then we met with the NP who knew we were paying out of pocket and they had just gotten some Follistim donated back so we got ALL of our Follistim plus 2 boxes of Ganirelix (we might need 2 more). So that saved us about $2k in meds!!! Woooohoooo!!! And finally we met with the financial person and we have to pay $11,500 for almost everything (not including embryo freezing) so all in all not too bad I guess. So now it's just waiting for AF to show (still hoping she doesn't-lol!!) and then the fun begins. I'm still in shock, it's going to be a crazy few weeks now. I better get all my Christmas shopping done this week!!

Sounds great - good luck! I'm glad to hear that you aren't doing any suppression - I am hoping that I won't have to either...did they say why you didn't have to?
