as long as you're driving carefully, you should be fine! it's the other ****** on the road doing 70mph you have to watch out for!

i think we are still going to go.. we only live 10 min away.. we will just drive carefully
I'm still not sure if he's going. I'd rather him make the decision before I have to give him my input!  I'll let him get home from work first and decide if the "roads" are worth traveling.

Montauk Hwy. in Sayville/Bayport was awful. DH and I tried to go to the gym and we turned right around.

Agreed. Slow the ef down and don't tailgate. Leave at least four car lengths in front of you. You'll get there slower but you'll get there alive and unscathed as long as some other idiot who thinks they're invincible doesn't slam ya.
STICK TO THE MAIN ROADS. They aren't ice yet. They're still water.

Oh my gosh, they were horrible. I work for a college campus and there was an accident blocking the exit off of the campus.....waited for a good long time before I got home....was crazyness...and I live five minutes away...it took me forever!! Be careful to all of you whom still have to travel....

I agree. And stay off the damn phone! Saw 2 people on the phone driving in this weather

OMG i just got home and i was slipping and sliding! i almost crashed into the car next to me! 
it was soooo scary! i'm definitely staying in tonight!
