MY NEPHEW WAS BORN!
My SIL had the baby today. He is 4lbs. 5 oz. Right now only grandparents are allowed to see him. My mom said he's sooooooooooo cute and tiny. It was a regular delivery. My SIL is fine too. she was starving...they told her not to have any food in her system since last night.
All he has to do now is stay healthy...we are so excited right now...
 
oh and his name is Gianluca...can't get more italian than that...

I got to see the little stinker today!!!
Because he is in the NICU only the parents and grandparents are allowed in to see him, I did some begging, I told them I was his only blood aunt, which is true cuz my SIL has no siblings...the nurse at the desk took mercy on me and made some calls and begged on my behalf...so they let me in for like a few seconds only.....He is sooooooo cute!!!!!! and tiny!!!!!...he's pretty long for a premie. I think he's 17 1/2 inches. But he is skinny. I just wanted to take him out of the incubator and eat him up!!!!!!!!
He's a fiesty little guy, always kicking his legs and strecthing his arms. We think his kicking is what broke the water. He literally kicked his way out...LOL
Right now he's breathing on his own and they have him hooked up to an IV to give him antibiotics. My SIL comes home tomorrow but she will be going back and forth to the hospital to feed the baby...We don't know how long he will have to stay in the hospital for. As long as he contiunes to do well, that's all I care about...I will continue to keep him in my prayers.
Oh and this little beauty's name is Gianluca...
It will be a while before I post pics of him...My SIL was able to take like 4 pics of him. But I couldn't take any...I'm lucky they let me in the NICU. I didn't want to push it by snapping pics..

This litte stinker ripped out the feeding tube that was in his nose! LOL
My SIL tried nursing today but he wouldn't latch on. He took the bottle though...
