My nephew's grad. gift
My nephew is graduating from USC in a few weeks. He loves the author/poet James Dickey. I found a signed limited edition copy of James Dickey's poem that he wrote for the inauguration of Jimmy Carter. However, my nephew's family (DAD) are hard-core neo-cons. I'm a little leary that my getting this will be seen a "making a statement". I found a signed book but my nephew really loves the poetry and even presented a paper on Dickey's poems at a James Dickey symposium at USC.
Should I just go ahead and get it and let the chips fall where they may?
