My parents are getting me a little batty....
So yesterday when Kristina was at her first appointment with her doc (which went splendidly - she has gained 6oz since leaving the hospital last week on Thursday), I made a point to ask the doctor if it was safe for me to take her out on walks as long as there was no interaction with anyone else IN FRONT OF MOM.... of course doc said it was okies....
Forward to today....
I tell mom that I want to take her out for a walk, and of course I get the whole speech of she shouldn't be out Lisa... 
Then dad and mom speak over the phone, and dad is all mad that I took the baby out for a walk....
WTH????????
I specifically asked the doctor in front of her so that she could hear from A DOCTOR'S POV if it was alright or not....
ok... vent over...

Aww, don't you know, parents know everything and doctors don't 
You are the mom, go with what you think is best for your little one  The fresh air is much better for the little one than staying inside.

That's what I said....
It's 65 degrees here today, and I bundled her up and said.... U know what if you don't want to see her outside then stay here, but I'm taking MY daughter outside for a short walk....
Needless to say... us taking the stroller out of the car and setting everything up including the walk took us a whopping 18 minutes....
It's not like we were outside for an hour and it was 30 degrees out....

I thought you were in NY and I was going to say I agreed with your parents, but then I read 65 degrees. Shoot, if it were 65 here when DS was born, I would definitely have brought him outside. It beats being cooped up all day, and the baby will probably get less germs outside, than in the house with other people.

ugh parents just want to be parents.... just dont tell them next time.. i learned to roll it off and do what i felt it right.
dont worry I bet the fresh air was nice and probobly made her sleep.
I would not be concerned about it

Try not to let it get to you....everyone will have advice for you. Follow your gut, and if your doctor agrees even better. I had to attend a funeral with DS and the weather was cold...and I had people I've never even met tell me I needed to bundle him up more....ummm he's sweating and if I bundled him more he would get a chill (the head rest in his car seat was soaking wet). But they think they know better.
Enjoy going for walks.

Are you a long distance daughter?
Mine drive me crazy, I email pics of Josh and they comment on how he can strangle in the blinds, why was he only wearing a fleece if he had a hat on...

I'm totally long distance daughter... they are in NY and i'm here in Las Vegas....
And of course I'm getting the guilt trip for that too.....
