My parents flight was just cancelled because...

a flock of birds hit the nose of the plane and put a huge hole in the nose. They can't seem to fix it as fast as they wanted.

I can't believe birds can do that to a plane

Yep, things like that happen.

Last year, we were coming back from Florida and we all boarded the plane.

We go really fast just about to take off and the plane slows down and we go back to the terminal.

The plane unloads as we all sit impatiently for 3 hours.........to find out.....that a huge wasp flew into one of the sensors and created a disaster. And the wasp was in a million pieces and had to get every peice out.

How's that for being delayed for 3 hours?? But at least they comped us each a ticket. Your parents will most likely get the same.

I was delayed on a flight because an a/c sensor light was going off - this was the middle of February so we obviously werent using a/c BUT even though it took a couple of hours to fix, I felt safer knowing it wasn't poo-pooed.

I can't even imagine how that stresses you out - cause if I remember correctly - you don't like to fly

I didnt know birds could do that either! thats crazy!


DH's flight had to make an emergency landing one time bc the toilet wouldnt flush.
