My parents have some explaining to do...
I'm sure we all go through this...
"Hey, I saw a person that looks exactly like you" - but they usually turn out to look very similar...and I hear it all the time. We're humans right? So it's obvious that we come across people that look like us all the time....
BUT
this morning....I saw my freakin' twin....we both walked past each other and stopped and turned around and took a nice long stare at each other....
the ONLY differences are:
- she had brown eyes, i have blue eyes
- she's a size 10, i'm a size unmentionable at this time
- she's about 5'3" and I'm 5'2"
- she's 26 and I'm 27
Yes, we chatted for a few minutes...she's Greek/Italian, and I'm Lebanese/Syrian....
when I saw my twin people...this person LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE ME....
I called my mother immediately, and she asked me if I was taking DH's head-meds....
She doesn't believe me...my own mother...I think she has some explaining to do....
I'm scared.

negative, we're complete strangers...LOL....and if she is my long-lost twin...I don't want to know her...she's probably just like me...

It's funny that you posted this. did you see Oprah yesterday?
two adoptive moms in two different states, were chatting on a message board. and realized that the girls they adopted (they both named them mia!) had the same bday and were from the same exact place in China... sure enough...
I love these types of stories !
you should have exchanged info with her, esp since she was also intrigued and didnt think you were a weirdo, lol.

thats funny. I have a friend who is freinds with this girl who said we look exactly alkie. sure enough we met, and took a picture together 9I have to se if i cn find it) and we really looked so much alike, it was scary! Shes got a few inches on me though.

This happened to me in high school...it was the start of the school year and all the new freshman were coming in (I was a junior). The first day of school I had a zillion people coming up to me..."Hey Jane" so I'd turn around and not know these kids...apparently I had the same first name as my "twin" but appraently we looked so identical that even this girl's friends thought I was her and they were all pizzed off that I moved back and didn't tell them! I did see a picture of her and we looked almost identical.

I get that all of the time, people think I look like someone else. I do have a twin but she looks nothing like me. Maybe I should trade her in for someone who does.

Too bad you didn't have a camera - check out this site with photos of American and European look-alikes. Some of them are downright creepy they are so similar.
