Oh, DS had a horrible time. Not so much from the shots--he hated the physical exam itself. Constant wailing during the whole visit, and he was very sad and wimpery all evening. The next day though, he was fine, and he had no side effects from the shots.
I wound up asking my doctor some questions by email after the visit--just couldn't concentrate with all the screaming! But I think my little guy tends to be a screamer, so your baby may not have such a hard time.

I can sympathize. I cried when we got home from our first set of shots because DS was crying so much. We had our second set last week and it wasn't any easier.
