My poor sweet cat Skittles
I feel bad because he is seriously the sweetest harmless, most loving cat....
And Miss Bean has been desperately trying to kick him as hard as she can for the past 45 minutes that he has been sleeping on me.
Just wanted to share! Mean baby!

I agree! I have to teach her that you don't pull their tails and you pet, not smack...I don't think my cats will be amused!

Re: My poor sweet cat Skittles
We've been trying to "prepare" our dogs for the insanity that will be here shortly... pulling their ears and tails and whatnot... They are FAR from amused. We get these looks of confusion. They'll thank us later!

Same here-they don't seem to get it or enjoy it! It was hard enough to explain to my other kitty Tigger that the crib was not for his sleeping pleasure. I was thinking of putting tin foil in it because pets hate the way it feels/sounds, but I bet I have the exception and would find him curled up on tin foil!

Re: My poor sweet cat Skittles
I had no idea about the foil! Weird. I can see how having to keep the cats out of the bassinet or crib would be a task in itself.
Our issue... keeping the dogs away from the baby toys that squeak and crinkle. The mini daschsie feels the need to rip those things to shreds! Unfortunately, the two of them work together to get to the toys... Bailey is able to get to the toys on the shelf, so she gets them down for Guinn to destroy as she watches and waits for the squeaker and fluff to come out and then plays with the dead rag that is left of the toy. And Guinn parades around the house with the fluff in his mouth all sorts of proud of his work! We have now put up a shelf that is practically out of my reach to keep the toys "safe". Ridiculous! I should try to wrap the toys in foil. HA!

I would! You are in for it! You will have to teach DS that it is not funny to throw his toys to the dogs!

Re: My poor sweet cat Skittles
I have 3 cats and 2 out of 3 are so annoying as far as my belly goes. One is like 16lbs so I literally lay with a pillow on my stomach for when he jumps on me and the other stands on my stomach and does that kneading thing with her claws out...
As far as keeping them out of baby stuff the pic below goes to show how well I am doing with that
I have an idea- to buy those $5 generic mosquito nets from BRU and put them on everything (bassinet. swing, car seat, stroller) when I'm not using them. Image Attachment(s):

OMG! I would not be happy!
As much as I love my furbabies, I can do without the kneading my boobs! Both stay clear of the stroller, which I am very happy about! Tigger is going on 5 crib free days!
