My prenatal vitamin was recalled, what Rx are you taking?
My doc knows all about it, it's not really new info that Prima Care was recalled. Regardless, my doc said for now just take an OTC like One A Day prenatal, but it's 2 pills, has an anticoagulant warning (which the doc isn't too worried about), and isn't cheap. I'd prefer a Rx product, what are people taking that used to be on Prima Care One? Just curious...

My doc didn't even give me a prescription one. i've been taking the OTC ones from the beginning.

i actaully take 2 flinestone vitamins a day, i have tried severl different prenatal vitiams and they all make me sick

Ive been taking Target Prenatal my entire pregnancy. My doctor said they were just as good as any Rx prenatal.

I am taking natachew. and it's been discontinued. So when I go to the doctor on the 23rd I have to ask them for somethign else.

I get mine from either the Vitamin store or CVS. It's from Rainbow light ( a reputable company) and the name of it's called Just once.

The prenatals made me sick so i just take a folic acid suppliment, iron pill and one flinstone complete.

I didnt know Prima Care One was Recalled!! 
My dr's office gave me free samples and prescription (which I havent filled). I believe I was given it before it was recalled

TTC'er here-I take natural prenatals. I think they are called Nature's One or something. I am waiting for them in the mail, so I am taking CVS brand now.

i actually got lucky today and got another 30 day refill - my pharmacist said he had to get it from another pharmacy
but im good for this month, when i go for my next checkup ill ask my ob for a new prescirption
did you call your doc?

I am now taking CitriNatal DHA.
The actual Primacare One product is fine. You can finish whatever you have left. The recall was voluntary on the part of the company due to issues at the plant where the product is processed/packaged. I think something happened with the packaging. This is the same plant where Clindesse is made (for vaginal infections) so they are going through the same thing. I got this same information from a number of ob/gyn offices and my pharmacy so I am pretty confident it is true. Sucks because I really liked the PrimaCare One. Now I am taking two pills every day.

Had the same problem but my Dr. gave a month supply until my pharmacy got it but they were still having the same problem stocking them. So they gave me option to either taking two pills a day or once a day. So I opted for once a day pill...very forgetful I am plus I'm the worst taking meds therefore now I'm taking Prenexa. And it has a stool softener ingredient that definitely helps during the pregnancy months....
