my son - maybe a texan
thought i'd talk about something non-political
looks like DS is seriously considering moving to the lone star state. his closest and dearest friend lives in texas and some other marine buddies live out there, too.
he'll be visiting to check it out and explore. if he decides to go out there, he'll start looking for a position as soon as he comes back. being that we're heading into the holiday season, he might not find anything until the new year.
texas!
he's already told me that if he does like it, he wants me to start looking for a new position out there, too. i told him he needs to spend time away from the nest and enjoy being a young single man. i will follow the day there is talk about grandkids
no real point to this post lol just thought i'd share something non-partisan

Re: my son - maybe a texan
That is great. You get so much more for your money in Texas. One of my friends is selling her home there. 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, over 4,000 square feet, 7 acre lot for $365,000. Beautiful home. They are getting that in NY for a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house on 1/4 acre. Sad.

DH was stationed there while in the Army and LOVED it. I swore I would never move there but now I’m coming around to the idea. I hear great things about Austin.
