I did and the girl who can't stop eating laundry detergent totally freaked me out.
I don't think I'll watch it - its too upsetting.

My question is this: where do they FIND these sick flucks???? I mean, do you send out a flyer, do you ask around? Because, damn, those are some crazy azz weirdoes!! I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry...

During the show they gave info on how to be on the show if someone you know or yourself have a strange addiction.
What blows my mind is why would these people want to showcase their 'strange addiction'??

OMG, this hit a funny bone!!!!!
I don't know where they find the people but eating non-food items can be a medical condition and is even a possible effect from anemia. I've been anemic and I have craved ice from it and apparently that is related to pica, which is the medical name for eating non-foods. I don't know how I would have craved other non-foods as I have never tasted them in the first place . Ice is clearly edible so I was not too worried.

I'm so freaked out by them, that I would want to watch it.. my jaw would be on the floor the whole time.. I feel bad.. laundry detergent, TP.. oo and the blow dryer lady..?!? don't you burn your finger?

These people are not "freaks" or "sick flucks"- they have a mental illness and need help.
I find it sad that they go on these shows to be exploited.
That being said- I missed it, but I saw the last one with the girl that eats chalk and the guy addicted to running.
It's scary....
