My stroller is too heavy. I need a lightweight stroller. Can you recommend yours?
I was indecisive before my shower and never registered for a lightweight stroller.
Maclarens seem to be the favorite. I see them everywhere. I think the Volo is the lightest one.
Is the Maclaren Volo the best lightest stroller? Can you recommend yours?

I ended up with a MacClaren Quest Sport..........loved the way it steared, how easy it folds & it reclines GREAT!
1 bad thing.....it will tip when you take DC out if you have stuff hanging!!

Well, since your DC is still very young you really should have one that reclines.
I think the Maclaren Quest does that. I don't know if the Volo does.

This is what I have been using. I will eventually move on to the Maclaren.

FYI - The Volo does not recline, so it may not be suitable for your DS. I think he may be to little for it now.

I have the Maclaren Techno XLR and LOVE it! It reclines all the way and the sun shade can be extended to provide full shade. It's a little heavier then the quest, but not much.

I have the Volo and love it- but definitely agree that it is for an older baby or toddler. The other Maclarens may be better, since they recline and should offer more support. DS is now 16 months and I use the Volo all of the time.

I have the Baby Jogger City Mini and I love it! It folds easily and isn't much heavier than the snap and go

Us too and it's great!! Although, when DD was 3 months, she seemed so small in it, but it worked out just fine and now it's great and so easy to use.

I would go for the Inglesina Swift. Similar to a Maclaren but less tippy and cheaper.

Me too. LOVE my Volo but it is definitely for an older baby.

How old would you consider an older baby? 6 months? When he can sit up on his own?

I just got the Graco Mosaic and I LOVE it!! It folds in a snap and is light and compact. The seat reclines too which I like and there is good storage. It was about $110 at BRU but I got it cheaper with the 20% off coupon.

We have the Orbit Infant System. I love the way it looks but it is so damn heavy.
I'm looking for a light stroller to travel with.

I have the Cortina and I LOVE it however, it's not a lightweight stroller. I use to think it wasn't that bad but once I made the switch to a lightweight stroller I realize that the Cortina is much bulkier than I thought. The stroller I bought now is so slim, so light, and folds in half a second. I still love my Cortina but for scooting around town quickly the Graco lightweight is much better than the Cortina IMO.

I wouldnt use a Volo until my baby was at least a year and/or didn't nap in the stroller. Try the Triumph...it has a slight recline and is only 11lbs...or a Quest..if you are going to go the Maclaren route a Quest is your best bet IMO. Light but has plenty of recline, adjustable legrest.
