My team green baby finally arrived...
And it's a girl!!!!
I was due 2/8 and it didn't appear the baby was coming anytime soon (not at all effaced and only 1cm dilated as of Thursday 2/14).
I woke up at 4am Friday the 15th with contractions but they came and went throughout the day so I assumedit was nothing. At 9pm they got painful but about 10 mins apart so we waited. Around 1130pm Friday they were anywhere between 4-8mins apart and lasting 30secs to over a minute. I still didn't think it was real labor bc my doctor stressed the 5-1-1 rule. Well I got neasaus and the chills so I had Dh call the dr and they said go get checked worst case they send you home. We arrived at Lij at 12:15 Saturday morning and they checked me in saying I was 5cm so we were staying and I was told I can get an epi as soon as I got to my room. I got the epi around 1am and it was amazing!!!! At 230am my water broke on my own so they checked me and I was fully dilated but the baby was high so they didn't want me to push yet. They sat me up and hoped gravity would help the baby drop and when I was checked at 430am sure enough it did. I pushed my 8lb 5oz little girl out in 45 mins.
Everyone at Lij is amazing!!!
We are in love with out baby girl.
Girls that are told they have no progress don't give up....at 40w6d I was told the same thing and suddenly the next day labor starts.

Congratulations!! How funny is it that you and I had the ame due date (2/8) and both ended up delivering on 2/16?!!! We were also team green and had a girl! Yayyy for all of us
