My toddler bit me and now my finger is infected!
1.5yo DS got his hands on a foil wrapped chocolate ball and was eating it with the wrapper. I stuck my finger in his mouth in attempts to dig it out and he bit me. My finger was bleeding and I put a band aid on it. Thought it was no big deal. It has been throbbing. Now my finger is full of puss. DH popped it and said if it isn't better by tomorrow, he will prescribe me antibiotics. He informed me human bites are the worst! I had no idea.
Has this happened to anyone before???

My toddler bit me and now my finger is infected!
Yes! I worked in child care and was bit on my chest by a child, through my shirt. It became very infected and I wound up on 14 days of antibiotics and my physician drew a circle around my bite and told me if it got any more swollen the next day to come back and she was going to drain it. Thankfully it drained on its own*tmi* and the antibiotics helped clear it up
