My twins are one today! with a picture people roosevelt field review
I wanted to post a short review about picture people in roosevelt field mall. Although the quality/creativity can't compare to a professional photographer, I think it is a great option for those of us who want to do a cake smash but don't have the money for a pro.
We had a great time (alot of work though). I didn't feel rushed. I do suggest you know exactly how many/what size pictures you want before going (unless you are just getting the CD). I knew I wanted to get the CD but they def try to talk you into larger packages etc. and it was a little overwhelming having the 2 kids there who were at the end of their rope.
For a little over a $100 I got 3 sheets and a high res CD with 18 pictures and a membership for future deals.

I made the cakes myself with the giant cupcake mold...very easy. They sell an icing in a can that you can ice the top with to make it look nicer.
