My twins have arrived!!!
I was scheduled for a c-section for tomorrow....however last Wednesday night I went into labor. We headed to the hospital and the contractions didn't stop so they delivered my beautiful babies Thursday morning. We were team green and it was the most wonderful surprise to find out it was two girls. I couldn't be happier. Leah Rose was 6lbs and Maya Noelle was 6lbs 4oz. The girls are healthy, my c-section was great and the recovery is going well. I was so happy that we were all able to come home together together. Big sister Kayla is enjoying getting to know her little sisters.
The day I delivered was a little hectic as my sister's water broke Wednesday night as well and she delivered her first child, Adam Stephen, on the same day as the twins. My mom was crazed. She came to Winthrop in the morning to be there for my c-section. The nurses snuck her into recovery to hold each of the babies and then she hopped into the car and drove to Boston and made it just in time for my sister to deliver her baby. So on 3/3/11 my sister and I gave my mom 3 more grand-babies. I was so happy that she could be there for both of us.

I have three girls as well (older sis and fraternal twins). It's so special to see them together.
. . . and the names are BEAUTIFUL!
