My vent for the day (Snow related)
I hate people that drive around with a 2-foot high block of snow/ice on the roof of the car. Especially when chunks of it fly off and hit my car. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw school busses driving around like this...there is really no excuse.

That's the worst!
What really kills me are the people that don't even clean off the hood of their car and all that snow is going right into their windshield   .

I just saw this on my way in to work!!! I cleaned my car off yesterday. There really should be a law against not cleaning your car off.

I agree with the OP. But I think I started this thread last year, and you wouldn't believe the excuses people had for not cleaning off their car. I really wish the police would start ticketing for this, it's dangerous.

I probably complained about it last year too...
I am just angry right now after driving behind a school bus on a one lane road (so I could not get away) getting hit by ice on my drive to work. I was driving several car lengths behind.  Seriously a bus - that is a lot of snow.

Last year I almost crashed my car because some moron didnt clean off his car and a huge ice chunk flew off his car and cracked my window..Thank god nothing else happend to me. I always clean off my entire car. I know it can be time consuming or a pain in the @ss but people should really think about what happens to the people behind them. Also what if you slam on there brakes and it all slides forward now you are risking your life and safety.

I thought so too!
I always clean off the top of my car. My mom's friend died years ago because a big chunk of ice flew off of the car in front of his and went right through his windshield, so I always make sure that I do that!

It is a law and someone I work with actually got pulled over on the LIE around exit 37 and the cop made her clean off the car. She did not get a ticket though.

I saw someone yesterday that only cleared the portion of the windshield in front of the driver - not even the whole windshield. It looked like they stood next to the car and cleared what ever they could with their arm - up/down/let's go. Over half the windshield was covered in snow

this p*sses me off to no end
yesterday when I was outside cleaning off my suv (struggling to make sure the entire car was clear) two cars passes me with snow coverd cars. And one car literally cleaned only a strip across the windshield and a strip off the back window only a few inches wide!

It is a law.
I made DH go out again this AM and clean off his car again! Told him he cannot get pulled over for it.
I'm still hurting from "sweeping" my car off yesterday (SUV), but, you gotta do what you gotta do! I do NOT want to be reponsible for causing an accident or hurting someone else because I didn't want to bother cleaning off my car.
HUGE pet peeve of mine!

I crossed the street this morning right after a school bus passed and got hit with a ton of snow from its roof. I was SO pizzed. There is NO excuse for not cleaning off your vehicle. Get a friggin ladder.

i just don't get how hard it is to freaking clear away nice fluffy white snow off your car. I had to hand shovel the entire house by myself and do my own car and make it into work yesterday. No excuse!

yup! it's SOOO dangerous!
I had a chunk of ice fly off a truck on the LIE years ago and it hit my windshield while I was driving with my DS and it CRACKED my windshield, which was nothing compared to scaring the absolute sh!t out of me!!!!!
