My weekend in montauk review

Hi

Ok we went to montauk friday and saturday for our one year annyversary, we left friday morning and had no traffic we chose to stay at the lakeside inn, from the recent article we saw in the NYMag...looked very nice....well it was cute and for the money i guess ok, they are in the middle of renovations so some things need to still be done...my biggest complaint was the bugs, there was a gap under the door so everything and anything crawled in...yuk...at night i would shove newspapers under the door...the first day we went to the lighthouse and dinner at gosmanns, food was ok service was awful....second day we went to johns pancake house, yummy food...then we decided to drive to sag harbor and walked around the town,.....very cute, then we went on the ferry to shelter island....that was soooo nice, i had never been we drove around and stumbled upon this hotel...sunset beach and resort....a cute hotel and restaurant/beach bar on the beach...we pulled over and hung out at the bar and drank some yummy mohitos, we had soooo much fun, we felt like we were in another country....the lunch there too was delicious....we definately want to come back and stay there, then that night we went to dinner at della feminas in east hampton, the food was amazing!!!!!

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself!!! I'm sorry to hear about Gosmanns!! my Hubby and I love that place

I love Montauk. That's too bad about Gosman's. It used to be so good.
