Mylicon

Is it ok to use mylicon everyday? I asked the dr and he said it was fine because it doesnt get into their blood stream... It just seems too good to be true. Does anyone else use it this often?

That was a MUST for Emily when she was a newborn. I called her my gas drop junkie. After about three months, she hasn't used it at all. I wouldn't worry. It is a miracle though.

I use it everyday and so does my friend I think its ok and I dont know what I would do without it.

my daughter had horrible gas mylacon didnt even help, our Dr told us to put it in every bottle and switch to dr browns bottels, it helped a bit but then our Dr told us about "gripe water" omg she would burp and fart about 1 minute after i gave it to her it was amazing!!!!

My brother's baby has acid reflux disease and takes mylicon after every meal, before she takes a nap. she takes 0.3 ml I believe of it. she is also taking baby zantac before meals as prescribed by her baby gastroenterologist.

I also used gripe water (per the pediatrician), I could only find it at health food stores and on the Internet. It worked wonders.

My nanny also recommended Gripe water which worked great - although you can only use it 6 times a day i believe and there has been concern over some ingredient in affecting a newborns kidneys - but I researched and continued to use. I think mylicon is perfectly safe though....
