MySpace question...
Do you accept random people as friends?
I'm not referring to people who are in the same groups as you. I'm talking about people who do searches or somehow stumble upon your profile and decide they want to be friends.
Am I a b*tch because I'm picky about who my "friends" are?

No. I only accept people I know. First, I'm not on MySpace to build up a friend list of 850 people so I can feel cool. Second, there are too many viruses that can be passed around on the Internet. If you're a b*tch for it, so am I.

I don't accept random people. In fact, I don't even accept people who I do know, but am not really "friends" with, like some guy I haven't seen or spoken to since he was in my 4th grade class. If I barely remember your name, you're not going on my friends list But my page is on friends only, and I'm pretty careful about what I put on the internet in general, so that's just me.

Ditto. Except I am not really friends with Kat Von D, Santino or the fabulous drag queen from Finland.
ETA: I post pics of my family & baby for my friends & family who live out of town to see, so I am EXTREMELY picky about who can see them. I have my profile set to private.

My own personal page, no i dont accept anyone i dont know.
If its our business myspace page, then i accept people after looking at their profiles...but mostly they are accepted. We're just trying to get the word out there about the product. We get alot of upcoming bands trying to make it and alot of bars and clubs

I do not accept totally random people but I have accepted some people that I only know from online and some people that I knew way back when! My myspace friends page has old friends, new friends, LIFers, LIWers, fellow wiener dog lovers from all over the US and fellow Marty Tankleff supporters. There isn't anyone there that I know only through myspace.
