Mystic CT Or Bar Harbor ME?
We're having trouble deciding which one to do for a 3-4 day babymoon.
Can anyone tell me which is better for a family trip?

It depends on when you are going. Bar Harbor is more of a summer/fall town. Now that foliage is almost peak up there, you will not have much to do. Plus it is a MUCH longer car ride....

I absolutely love Bar Harbor. Bar Habor is better in the summer though b/c of the hiking and water activities. It's also a much longer drive.
Mystic is ok, but I don't think you need to spend more than 1-2 days there. I'd also think about splitting the trip between Mystic and either other parts of CT or somewhere like Newport.

I loved Bar Harbor (we went at the fall peak time); I wasn't too thrilled about Mystic.

We loved Mystic
Search for all of my posts about Mystic
We stay at the Steam boat inn which is right on the water, and in the heart of town. It is a great, romantic place.
