Cape Cod and Bar Harbor Recs?
We are booked for Cape Cod and Bar Harbor, ME for the end of the month.
Looking for must-do activites and most importantly great places to eat!
Any suggestions?

FM Kissy27 - she responds to a lot of the Maine threads about what to do and where to eat.
I used to vacation in Bar Harbour every summer - I loved visiting Acadia National Park and seeing the seals and walking around the rocks.

Thanks - actually Kristen and I are good friends so she's given me some advice already!  But I'm lookin for more!
We are staying (I believe) right outside of Acadia!

Ha! How did you think I would not respond to this one!
You already know to go to Acadia & your must stops are 1)Thunder Hole 2) Cadillac Mountain.
A trip to Bar Harbor is not complete until you do a whale watching excursion. Here is the one we usually do
Bar Harbor Whale Watching
Take the CAT out of Bar Harbor over to Yarmouth, Novia Scotia
CAT ferry
Go to the Atlantic Brewing Company which allows you to taste the local beer, wine and sodas....
Brewing Company
Then spend some time just walking around the town. It is a beautiful place!
In regards to restaurants, I will ask my dad tonight. He has all these places mapped out!

I'll add the Jordan Pond House in Acadia for afternoon tea and popovers and the little ice cream shop in Bar Harbor for dessert.
Mt. Desert Island is beautiful outside of Bar Harbor too, and everything is a quick drive away. We LOVED Beal's Lobster Pound in Southwest Harbor.
