I like Queen Bee Nails in the Mayfair shopping center. Haven't gone in a while- been doing them myself- but they were always good.

Re: Nail places in Commack area
I had a bad experience at Floris (on the corner of Jericho & Commack Road).
I actually got what I thought was a great manicure and eyebrow wax but in a few days I developed nail fungus under one of my nails

They used to be great, now I HATE it there!
I'm sorry, I'm no help. I don't go by my house anymore - I found a good place by my job instead.

Re: Nail places in Commack area
I only like acrylic and I was having trouble finding a place that did a good job at it. Some places do a good job at other types of wraps but not acrylic. I just tried Winnie Nails in Smithtown, not far from the Commack border. It's in the same shopping strip as Nubar and a laundromat. So far, so good. I am very rough on my nails and very picky!!!!!
