For me it is Beautiful Boy (only when sung by John Lennon)
Its so weird because I dont even have any sons
but its just such a touching song it gets me every time

100 years - makes me think of my grandpa.

By My Side by Sade - especially that line

"when you're lost
and you're alone

I listened to that song when my friend's body was found at ground zero after 9/11. It always makes me think of him.

I literally can't listen to this song knowing he wrote it for his little boy that tragically died

wind beneath my wings- it reminds me of my grandma

and alan jackson's where were you when the world stopped turning (don't know if that's the title).- I worked in the world financial center when 9/11 happened and was there and it always gets me extremely emotional.

As much as I hate to say this, the song has one huge grammatical error in it that I simply cannot get past. However, I tune it out because the rest of it is nice.

Tears In Heaven (reminds me of how sad my cousin was when my uncle died)

Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)- Josh Grobin.
My grandfather loved that song and listened to the Josh Grobin CD everyday when he was in the hospital before he died. It's a great song, and it made my grandfather happy- but I can't get through it without bawling.
