nanny cameras

If you have a nanny or sitter working from your home, do you have a nanny camera?

Re: nanny cameras

Yeah, I looked into that...quite pricy for the ones you can monitor from the internet. I don't think I can have access from where I will be and my DH either plus you have make sure your job allows it depending on the firewall. So, before investing on it make sure you can have access to it.
I was thinking one that goes right to the DVR?

anyone else? if so, what kind did you get?

Re: nanny cameras

We use a web cam. Dh is able to monitor it at work on his computer. We've had it for a year now and it has been great.

Hi, sounds good but how are you able to see different angles?

I'm looking for options. Thanks.

Re: nanny cameras

Yes, we have them that I can see at work from the internet. Dh can't because he works for a bank and firewall stuff. They are hardwired into different rooms that our DD is in throughout the house. They actually just look like motion sensors. I am so thankful for them. Besides the fact that I can see if I have any nanny issues, I can also see DD during the day and how she's playing and what she's doing.

In my opinion they were noticeable..did not like it at all. They were for indoor/outdoor.

You can move the camera from your computer. We have it in our living room and we can see from all angles. It also has sound.

We set it up through our alarm company so they got them for us. But if you called one of those companies, they might be able to do the whole install for you. It was pricey but worth it for us and my peace of mind.
