Nap advice....11week old
any advice for napping for an 11week old. DD usually takes really short naps and needs to be rocked to sleep.
Should i be putting her on a schedule? how long should she sleep?
how many naps per day?
should she be able to put herself to sleep?
am i starting a bad habit by rocking her for naps? TIA

Re: Nap advice....11week old
I started a schedule with my boys around the 12-14 week mark. I would just put them in their cribs at 9-10AM and then again in the afternoon after their lunch bottle. The boys would cry for a bit, but would sooner or later fall asleep. They kept to that schedule for over a year. Up until then i was just lettign them nap in the pak n play wherever we were in the house.

Re: Nap advice....11week old
My DD just turned 12 weeks old. She doesn't really have a set schedule as far as naps, but she seems to take one in the morning (around 10 or 11am) and will nap from 1 hour to 2 1/2 hours). She then takes another nap around 3pm'ish for another hour or so. Of course, everyday is different, but this seems to be more of the norm.
She falls asleep on her own. Usually by sucking on her fingers in her crib or she just dozes off in her swing.
