Nap/bedtime Q

If your DC misses a nap, takes a late/longer one or whatever

Do you adjust their bedtime ?

EX. My DS took a long late nap 12:30-2:50 (the kid NEVER does that for me LOL) at daycare. Normally he takes an early nap and then a later nap at 3-4. So obviously he isn't tired now and there will be no later nap today. Usually he goes to bed at about 7:45

SHould i be starting his bedtime routine earlier?

I would follow his cues. If he seems tired earlier, then I'd start the routine.

I follow his cues. DS often skips his afternoon nap or takes a very short one, so on those days, he usually goes to bed around 7 or 7:30. Normally he goes to bed at 8.

I would also follow his cues but most likely he will go to bed earlier than usual! Chat Icon

Re: Nap/bedtime Q

DS didn't show that many cues.. So about 10 mins earlier i just gave him the paci and he went out.

I thought he was going to be a mess, all cranky at bath time but he was pretty good

Yay!!! Chat Icon Sounds like it went well. When my son misses a nap he goes down about 15 - 30 minutes earlier for bed.
