Napping in Crib

Does anybody have any tips on getting DD to nap in her crib during the day. She has no problem sleeping in it at night (up until this week she was waking up once at night and this week she's been sleeping from 11pm-10am). But during the day as soon as we put her down in the crib she screams her head off. Does anyone have any advice?

Not sure how old your DD is... but my DS is almost 4 months old. When he gets cranky I rock him a little bit, then put him down in his crib while he is still awake. If he cries then I turn on the mobile (Tiny Love Symphony Mobile) - he is asleep in less than 5 minutes!

how old is she? My 1st DD didn't nap in her crib until she was around 9 months old and almost broke the swing!

DD#2 started napping in her crib around 6 months after doing CIO...

Both slept fine in it at night...

DD is almost 4 months and in the last few weeks has really gotten into a good nap pattern. I put her in when she is tired, with a sound machine on. USually she is asleep within 5 mins. Once in a while, she screams-if she gets really worked up I go back in and rock her for a few mins.

DD is 8 months and up until about a month ago was sleeping wonderfully in the crib for naps (or in a pack and play at my ILs during the week).

Now as soon as you put her down in her crib she immediately sits up and screams. We've tried letting her cry in there for 20 mins and she doesn't calm down.
