Nassau, Bahamas, Cruising with Kids
One of our stops is Nassau on our cruise this fall. My kids would love to go to the Atlantis but I have read that only hotel guests can use their amenities.
If we decide to take a taxi from the cruise, what would we be able to do with the kids at Atlantis?

You can do atlantis,cruise ships offer tours but i heard that you can take a ferry over and still get in.. We are doing a cruise in May and going to Nassau

I would rather do something on my own and not pay the high prices for an excursion.
I will look into the ferry option.

what cruise line are you going on and how old are your children.. where else are you going. last year we did the carnival mircle out of NY to grand turk, half moon cay, and nassua. our kids are 8 and 13 the 8 year old had a blast in the kids camp...

RCCL-Oasis of the Seas. They will be 12 and almost 7.

AWESOME ship. We just got back from our cruise, 4-10 to 4-17. We went with 18 people and can't wait until our next cruise next year. The kids will have a blast. PS - there is a selve serve ice cream station midship on deck 15 near the pools, donuts all day on deck 8 the Boardwalk, cookies all day at the Cafe on deck 5.
Find out if you can get a day pass to Atlantis so that you don't have to book it thru RC. Wastes too much time to take the excursion, to get everyone organized and loaded on the ferry. Definitely take the ferry - the car traffic can be horrendous.
DH and I will try Allure of the Seas in about 2 years. Didn't get to see everything on Oasis.
