my cousin had her sons at he vfw hall in farmingdale yesterday. i believe they do catering and the room was big..
i'm having my dd's at the VFW in centereach in july and it 25$ pp
12.50$ for kids you cant beat the price. The menu is very big also, i'm not sure its the same price/menu for farmingdale but def look into it.

I'm holding DS's at Singleton's in Bethpage - not sure what the room holds, but my minimum to guarantee was 50.
I also looked at Westbury Manor and Woodbury Country Club - both can accomodate your group size
