Can anyone give me some recommendations on good restaurants in Nassau county that have a room to hold 70-75 people?

We've done parties at Peppercorn's in Hicksville (my fave) and Hemingway's in Wantagh.

I've gone to several events at Peppercorn's and really like it. The room is very pretty but the stairs are pretty steep and narrow if you have any elderly folk...
