Native Spanish-speaking moms...
I am looking for Baby books in Spanish --- not TRANSLATED to Spanish but actual Spanish (pref. from Spain) nursery rhymes and fairy tales, baby books, etc.
Any suggestions????

Did you try the import section in Amazon? I saw that but couldn't decipher everything.
I think asking people from Spain would give you a better selection for you to track down. Most of the Amazon ones were from South America/Mexico

Maybe you could go to "Instituto Cervantes" (they are located in 49th St. and 3rd Ave. in NYC) or write to them (http://nyork.cervantes.es/). This institute is from Spain, they have a library and you can find books for children in there. I'm sure they could recommend you good books and if you go you can look at those books in the library and see if you like them.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies - I sent an email to Instituto Cervantes, don't know why I didn't think of them!!

Karina thanks for bumping this! I never thought to check ebay.
My aunt is bringing me some books from Ecuador in a couple of weeks. When we go to Panama I'm going to purchase some. I have a TON of English books but I have to build up his Spanish book collection and I don't want translated books. He has a couple of those but I want original Spanish books.
