Natural FET ETA with another question
I'm technically in the process of one now...does anyone have natural FET success stories. We have one frozen embie and are hoping it's our take home baby.
I feel so lost since all we are doing is morning monitoring....no injections. Feels weird but good at the same time.
When do they put the embie back? After you ovulate. Since it's a frozen blast do they do transfer 5-6 days after ovulation. I'm lost LOL
ETA:
Do you know if we can try "naturally" also? Since I ovulate on my own and we did get pregnant on our own in February..I was wondering if we can help the chances since hey you never know Does anyone know if there are any cons to this?

Natural FET
I think with a natural FET they put the embyro in 5 days after ovulation so that it mimics a natural cycle.

Re: Natural FET
Hi, I had a successful natural FET back in Jan. They transfer the embryo the day they froze them. So if you have 5 day blast your transfer will most likely be 5 DPO, 3 day would go back 3 DPO. I was on no medication just A LOT of monitoring to confirm ovulation. Natural transfers have the same success rate as a medicated cycle, so try not to stress. Good luck!!

Natural FET
Thanks ladies. I went in today. All looks good. I'm monitoring my ovulation too. I asked the RE this morning when do they put my embie back in she said a week after ovulation. I think it was frozen on day 6 or 7..
LIinMI thanks for the success story. That makes me feel good. I do think this is going to be my take home baby. From my mouth to Gods ears

What determines a natural versus a medicated FET?

If you ovulate on your own and naturally produce enough estrogen then you are a candidate for a Natural FET. With a medicated it is a little more controlled you are on estrogen and possibly other meds. You can change your transfer date if it doesn't work for you.
I had a Medicated FET and based on the cycle calendar my transfer should have been on a Tuesday but I wanted my particular RE(its a group practice) to do it and he's only there on Thursdays. It worked out perfectly and I got a BFP.

Exactly this. Since technically I am fine fertility wise the doctor said natural FET. He actually didn't even give me a choice of medicated FET.

Natural FET
With my natural FET I wasn't on any medication, just monitored week of ovulation (I ovulate on my own). Once I had the transfer I went out on progesterone and that was it :) GOOD LUCK!!
