nausea and morning sickness starting to kick in
im starting to have a really sensitive sense of smell and when my coworkers heat up their lunch it permeates through the halls and i almost just vomited. now im nauseous. but for the last day or 2 ive been feeling like im constantly starving but have absolutely no desire to eat. everything i think about eating is making me nauseous too. how bad is that for the baby? did you force yourselves to eat something??? im worried im hurting him/her but the thought of food is making me wanna hurl.

You should try and eat a little. Do the best you can with eating, the baby will be OK. Just make sure you're taking your vitamins and drinking plenty of water.

Re: nausea and morning sickness starting to kick in
during my first pregnancy I couldnt stand food for the first 16 weeks.. Just the thought of food would make sick. My peds said to try and do my best, but I wasnt harming the baby in anyway, b/c the baby was taking all it need from me, and my body was the one that pretty much suffering from not eating. As long as you dont get dehydrated your okay. If the weight loss gets extreme then usually the doc will intervene and admit you to the hospital.
