TOTALLY agree! Ophelia spoke so much about this that I used them for DS's bday cupcakes - by far the best chocolate cake recipe & insanely simple.

Re: Need a chocolate cake recipe for tomorrow!
THanks guys, I remembered that I had notebooked a "hostess" choco cake recipe a few weeks ago that was posted so I went through my pantry I happened to have the ingredients and got to it. I will let ya'll know how it turns out.
The Hersheys recipe is very similar(this one just calls for coffee instead of water and buttermilk ( I made my own).
Crossing fingers it is just as good!

I have made this also. And while it was very good as well, the Hershey's is still my fav. Either way you won't be disapointed!

Okay, I made the "hostess" one and although it is good I am not impressed! I thought it would be a little richer with all that went into it. Because I'm a nut I'm going to make the hersheys one too and see which one I like better. I'll let ya know!

Ditto, I made this cake yesterday and its super easy and super delish!!
I would substitube a cup of strong coffee for the boiling water, always accentuates the chocolate flavor!
