Need a cognitive therapist. anybody know one?
For Cognitive Behavior Therapy? We just started my daughter at LI Anxiety Care in Setauket. We have only gone a few weeks so I really can't say if they are good or not, but I did get quite a few recommendations for them.

For CBT therapy call the Psychological Health Collaborative in Roslyn (in the Flower Hill building). Drs. Olivia Velting, Emily Klass, and Paola Conte. They treat children and adults.

If you can, go on the apa.org website. You can search by location and treatment modalities. (Either apa or psychology today.com.)
FYI, many therapists use CBT. The only ones who don't, or may not by definition of their name, are psychoanalysts.
