Need a good first sippy cup..what is your DC's favorite

My boys need to start using a sippy cup. I am using the nuk with the hard spout. All they do is bite on the spout and have no clue there is anything in the cup for them.

I think its time to try something else. Any suggestion?

TIA

I have tried everyone on the market...sippys and straw sippys. My DD does the same thing - bites on it like it's a teething toy...I cannot get her to take an actual sip. She is now 8.5 mos and I've been giving it to her every day since she was 6 mos old.
Someone recently posted a straw sippy that you can squeeze the cup to move water up the straw to get them to know what to do with it...you have to be super strong - the cup is made of hard plastic I have yet to squeeze it enough to move any liquid up the straw.

There's a playtex straw sippy that you can squeeze but DS just got the hang of his tommy tipee sippy cup. I love this sippy b/c it doesn't seem to leak even with all the bashing and banging it enduresChat Icon

I must have tried 10 and the ONLY one she'll take is the Nuby soft tip ones. They have the handles. I found the transition from bottle to sippy worked best with the soft spout since it was like a bottle.

I haven't seen a Nuk soft spout. Do you know where I can get that.
I will also look at the tommy one.

Thanks!
