Re: Need a good inexpensive red wine
Ohh there are so many......but I am on a Chile kick. I forget the name but pretty much any red wine from Chili is delicious and very inexpensive. You really can't go wrong.
The liquor store I go to sells it for maybe $12/bottle.
Otherwise, my other favorite is Mac Murray......sometimes it's hard to find but also inexpensive. It is a PinotNoir.

Re: Need a good inexpensive red wine
anything by barefoot. my absoulte fav. wine and only 5.99 or 6.99 a bottle (750mL) depending on where you go.
i also really like yellowtail but that's a dollar or two more most of the time.
if you like fruity, stick with shiraz and merlot. if you like dry, cabernet sauvignon is your best bet.

Barefoot is good, especially considering the price.
I really like Rioja. They start at around $16 a bottle.
Pindar reds.

I don't remember the exact price but it wasn't $$$$$. But the funniest name it did have..... B itch. It was actually good even with the name.
