Need a new job ASAP...
My BF just got laid off from his job today.  We have a 2 month old DD and im only working 2 days a week right now. Im hoping to start looking for a new job next week but in the meantime how are we supposed to support our DD? I am so upset. We were just barely getting by to start with and now this...
My BF is in the compluter feild. He has his A+ certification and is a DELL certified technician. If anyone knows of any places that are hiring in Suffolk, specially the Stoney brook area, please FM me.
Also, i am looking for a job as a vet tech. i have a certificate of completion from taking a BOCES class. If anyone knows of anything, again please FM me.
Im sick to my stomach right now just thinking about how tough these next couple of weeks are going to be. I really hope he can find a job quick. Thanks.

I am sure its probably not what he would want long term, but check Cablevision, besides their IT positions they are almost ALWAY hiring for call center help. The pay is decent with benefits, varying schedules and there is generally OT availability.
It might be a good interim idea.
PS Check the staffing agencies, they genrally have lots of openings.
cablevision is actually his first choice right now. hes going there monday, hopefully he will get something!
