My dream job would be to work for a non-profit. I love to volunteer and do it as much as I possibly can, but I have bills to pay lol. It would be awesome to help a good cause and get paid for it.

My dream job is an event planner. I love planning parties and then seeing it all come together. I work in HR now and like it but I am far from home. I want to be closer to home (2 hours away right now) and able to see more of my twin babies during the week.

My dream job would be teaching but we all know how hard it is to find a job on LI right now. So at this point, anything other than retail which I am in currently. I would love to do something where I feel I am making a difference.

I don't know if this is possible, but I would really like to win this for my mom. She has been out of work for a year. It's getting harder and harder. She is older and she didn't go to college. She wants and needs to work. She just wants a job that she can enjoy and show how valuable she is. I feel so bad for her everyday. She is losing hope and a new resume may be what she needs to get the perfect interview for the perfect job!

My dream job would be to a teacher. I am a dual certified teacher who can not catch a break. I have been working in the field for 6 years, right out of college. I'm always one step behind, a day late and a penny short. Last school year I went back to school for my Special Education degree. I finished twelve credits (Sept.-May) while working 2 part-time jobs in addition to subbing AND completing my Master's. I attended 2 different colleges, Stony Brook and Dowling, all while leaving husband (married 1 year at the time) and new house behind. I was and still am stressed out about not being able to "pull my own weight" and worrying if we have enough money. My lack of career has been very damaging to my self-esteem and self-worth.
This year, I switched from subbing to a Teacher's Assistant in order to fill out the Special Ed. portion of my resume, only to end up working in the library! I check out books and it is slowly draining the passion and desire I have to teach, out of me.
DH and I want to start a family in the near future but with my lack of career, we are having major anxiety.
I have been sending out resumes nonstop but never seem to get the call. Winning this contest would be a huge step in the right direction.
Being a teacher is the only career that I have ever wanted. However, I am almost ready to throw in the towel and it is killing to to think that all my hard work and sacrifices will have been for nothing.

My dream job is waiting for me in the NICU. I have been in my current employment for 11 years, but will be graduating in May, and looking for my NICU position. I NEED HELP in this tough market to make my resume stand out from the masses!

My dream job is to be the one that runs the Haunted Mansion in Walt Disney World.
However...
I'm actually applying for my DH. He owned a performance shop (cars) but had to close due to the economy. He has a degree in economics, is 32 years old and doesn't know what he wants to do with his life. He would LOVE to get back into the performance/racing business.

I am entering for my DH...his dream job was to be CEO of a company by the time he was 45. He was laid off almost 6 yrs ago from his executive marketing job that he loved and has been consulting and working p/t jobs when he can. He is now 46 and told me he thinks he'll never be able to get a "real" job again because of his age and lack of being in the marketing world the last few years.  He has been integral in me finally finding my dream job (waiting on a start date), now I can only hope to do the same for him!  He has incredible experience with amazing companies so I can only think it's his resume that is holding him back

My dream job is to be a horticulturist.
I've been away from the workforce for almost 5 years and will be going back to work in the fall when DD goes to school. Wish I could go back to school to be a horticulturist but that isn't in the budget. I'm taking civil services tests to try to work in the schools or else going back into sales.
I really could use the help with my resume.

I am beginning to re-invent my definition of "dream job." Five years ago, my dream job was to teach Kindergarten. I have been struggling so much to become a teacher, working in jobs in education that have been a place holder while waiting for the right opportunity to come along. Since the reality is that I am more likely to be struck by lightning 5 times than get a teaching job on Long Island at this point in time, I think I would be most happy in a job that utilizes my skills as an educator while still letting me balance my life as a mom.
In a fantasy world, I would love to work in the education division of The Walt Disney Company, specifically their parks division.

My dream job would be heading a disaster recovery/business continuity team for a major corporation or the city. I want to be able to develop disaster recovery plans for both people and the business itself. (disasters ranging from blackouts, natural disasters, and terrorism)

My dream job would be a SAHM and a childrens author 
but I'm entering for my DH. He's been working for my father for a few years now, and absolutely hates it. It's really causing a ton of tension, and he wants to branch out and find another career. His dream job would be working for Disney World, but realistically he wants to work as a logistics and operations manager. He has the experience, just needs to opportunity

my dream job would be my current job - only closer to home! i love what i do and who i work with but hate the commute
i am entering for DH though...his dream job is a sports broadcaster or analyst. currently though he works in finance and is stuck with a group where there is no room for growth until someone retires. but being in his field, he is lucky to have a job and even better a job with security.
