Re: Need a really Simple Mojito Recipe!
You can also substitute gigger ale for club soda, makes it a little sweeter

Also, you can add some nectar for extra sweetness. I recently copied a guanabana mojito from Tellers. yum yum!

Re: Need a really Simple Mojito Recipe!
I had the most amazing mojito... made by a brazillian friend...
the recipe is the same except there's NO SODA. Just a lot of ice. it melts as it sits in the cup. It's CRUCIAL that you seriously pulverize the mint. It's a labor of love. The mint should look like pesto... only then it will be minty enough.
Since his AMAZING drink, I am a rather finicky mojito drinker
ps- Rosle makes by far the best muddler

Re: Need a really Simple Mojito Recipe!
You HAVE to muddle the mint, lime and sugar before you add the ice, rum and club. Then add an extra sprig of mint. It tastes even better if you use Raw Sugar.

Mojito oh how I miss you....
DH uses sprite and less mint leaves. He spent an afternoon playing around with it and I was more then happy to taste test. We found less mint leaves and Sprite gave it the best taste. Play around with it.
