I make a Brown Sugar meatloaf, everyone in my family ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! I actaully made if for my dad's birthday dinner last night {he requested it of course} and my 3 1/2 year old ate 2 pieces!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 cup finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs
Shredded cheddar cheese {optional}
1 pkg onion soup mix
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Press the brown sugar in the bottom of the prepared loaf pan and spread the ketchup over the sugar.
In a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly all remaining ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place on top of the ketchup. And sprinkle top with {extra} brown sugar and ketchup
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices are clear.

bag and Season Meatloaf mix, I sometimes use plain tomato sauce instead of the milk it calls for. HTH

i just made this last night! i used the meatloaf seasoning packets from mccormick..........very easy!
the brown sugar one sounds good---i'm going to try that next!

I make a low carb version of this
No bread crumbs or water...and no added sugar ketchup
YUM!!
