Need a restaurant suggestion
Between Riverhead and mt Sinai
Here's the tricky part, my DH doesn't eat meat and we also try to eat gluten free.
We eat Japanese once a week so I'm looking for something else.
I'm open to Italian but it has to be someplace that does GF.
With all of our food requirements it's getting very hard to find local places to eat out but I'm so tired of cooking!

Hmmm -- is Oakdale OK?
I mean, it's between Mount Sinai and Riverhead but it's South so not sure...
Anyway, Mannino's in Oakdale is great - they have tons of meatless options AND they have gluten free pasta.
They have a lot of fish too - not sure if your DH is ok with fish or not. I know there are different degrees of vegetarian.

Check out fifth season in port Jeff, they have some gf options. We went to perabell recently and they had a great steak entree that was gf and went over how they could modify other options to be gluten free but I'm not sure if they would have something also vegetarian. A little further but I've heard great things about mama's in Oakdale. They have a whole gf menu.

Btw, can you share where you go for Japanese? It's so hard to find places dh will go.
They also just opened a Moe's in patchogue which would work for something quick.

We like Osaka in Shoreham plaza. They just expanded and they do hibatchi now too

Kelly, what about Savino's Hideaway or Orto in Mt. Sinai? I know they do gluten free. I love the Hartlin Inn in Sound Beach, but the menu is pretty limited and I don't think they do gluten free 
Spyro's Lounge in Rocky Point?
