Need a steak on a stick recipe please....
A few years ago I went to a bbq and the hostess had thin cut steak on bamboo sticks. I think it had a teriyaki marinade. It was a great finger food and I'm having a bbq next weekend so I'm looking for a recipe. It was an ex girlfriend of DH's friends so I can't call her.
Anyone know what I'm talking about ???

That sounds yummy! I googled "Asian Steak Skewer recipe" and a LOT of things came up! Maybe try that? It's hard without knowing the flavors, but maybe a picture can trigger your memory?

Go to a Cow Palace butcher shop. They have them done already. Had them for dinner last night and they were tasty.

Yoshidas !! They sell it at Costco in a huge jug...That stuff rocks
We usually cut flank steak in long strips then thread the meat through the bamboo skewer....I marinate the meat a for a few hours before...You could probably even do overnight...

I've never heard of this marinade. I'll have to check the next time I go to Costco. Someone also mentioned using Soy Vay sauce with pineapple juice.
