Need a vodka based cocktail for tomorrow night...what's your favorite?
I'm bored with my usual cosmo type drinks. I need some suggestions. I like flavored vodkas too, drinks or martinis, I'm not picky!
And while I'm at it, what's your favorite appetizer? I need some suggestions for that too. I'm bored with my go-tos. Hot or cold. I don't care.

I am simple so I just drink vodka and sprite. sometimes vodka and diet coke.
oh and I will make frozen strawberry daiquiris with vodka instead of rum.
for appetizers I love making cheesy spinach dip in bread bowl (though if I can find a bread bowls I will just use corningware)

I'm not a big mixed drink person - but I like a good dirty martini.
My Mom loves orange vodka 'martinis' .......it's basically orange vodka in a martini glass w/ an orange slice

Maybe try a flavored vodka with sprite or with a fruit juice (Ocean Spray has combo ones that are good)

I just made a "Cinnabon" cocktail that was a hit at Christmas.
Equal parts Rumchata and Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka. Shake and pour over ice or straight up in a martini glass.
SO YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM

you MUST try this.
Grey Goose Pear (has to be Grey goose though, not Absolut or other cheaper brands of pear. The Goose Pear tastes and smells like an ACTUAL fresh cut pear)
You do 2 parts of that
1 part Limoncello
1 part Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
1/2 part Lemon juice
DASH of simple syrup. (you can omit this if you don't like it too sweet- the limoncello adds a bit of sweetness)
Ah-mazing!

And as for an appetizer, I LOVE hot clam dip.
Super easy and tastes like a baked clam without the shell
1 stick margarine (can use butter)
2 chopped cloves garlic
2 cans minced clams
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon grated cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
1 teaspoon lemon juice
10 drops Tabasco sauce
Paprika (optional)
Preheat oven to 350° F. Melt margarine in frying pan and sauté garlic. Add 2 cans of clams with juice. Simmer about 3 minutes. Add dash of lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.
Mix in bowl, bread crumbs, grated cheese, oregano, and parsley. Combine the wet ingredients to the dry. Place in baking pan. Top mixture with a dash of paprika if using. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with crackers.

I didn't but my sister did graham crackers and also drizzled chocolate syrup inside the martini glass.

It's really good! But it's very gingery (which I love). If you make it with ginger beer and Rose's Lime, that is better than using just lime juice. You can make it a bit less gingery by using ginger ale instead of ginger beer.

I made vodka infused Oreos and it was next to impossible for me to find cake vodka.  we tried 5 different liquor stores and none carried it anymore. They said most of the flavored vodkas aren't being carried anymore, they the trend had peaked. (thankfully I had enough cake vodka to make the Oreos though.  )
