Need Advice/Ideas

DH works weekends and I am home with DC. Any ideas on how to keep myself busy? DC is 4 and keeps himself busy. I feel like I am getting depressed b/c I miss having DH home on the weekends. I work all week and hes home all week so we see eachother at night but thats it.

Anyone in the similar situation?

Well my husband is a cop and works crazy hours. Sometimes I take DS shopping (even if it is just to walk around) or to the park and playdates. Now that the weather is cooler, what about something like the movies or some of the indoor play places.

Yea thats a good idea, Do you do alot of playdates on the weekend? I work all week so when the weekend comes I am exhausted.

The libraries have mommy and me type classes on the weekends a lot. maybe you can do something like that. Or as the PP said..there are tons of places you can take DC for open play.

DH and I both work crazy hours. We work around each other, so one of us is always home with DS. There are many days that we just want to lay down and rest. But children need to go, go, go!!

I have looked into playgroups with other LIF moms, days at the library, time at Walmart (I kid you not, DS absolutely loves Walmart and the crazy antics I can do in a cart!) We also swim together a few times per week.
