Need advice regarding my cat, Mr. Giggles
Giggy is an inside cat. Always has been, he is about 3 years old.
Well, Giggy has learned how to open the screen door and let himself out. We lock the screen door, but he claws at the screen.
He has only gone in the backyard, but I am really scared he will try to go further one day.
Once he gets out, we leave the door open and eventually he comes back in.
I am worried because I haven't gotten him the shots that an outside cat would get and I am worried he will go further then the backyard.
Phil is going to try and get a plastic guard so he can't claw at the screen.
Hopefully that will work.
In the mean time I made an appt with my vet. I want to make sure he has all the shots an outdoor cat has.
Anyone else have this problem?
I want him to stay an inside cat where I know he is safe.

We have pet screens on the doors - we had an escape once - Pookie clawed a hole through the window screen and got out - they can't do that with the pets screens
