Need advice: Selling my wedding dress

I have someone that possibly wants to purchase my wedding dress which is great! Only problem is, I live in the Midwest and she lives in NY, so she's nervous to commit to the purchase before getting to try on the dress. (dress has been altered to fit me and I no longer have my measurement card since I was married 3 years ago)

Is there any sort of remedy to this situation that I'm not thinking of that will protect both me and the buyer?? I just cant think of a solution! I told her all my general stats like bra size, waist, and height from my wedding day, and we seem to be around the same size in all areas... but I totally understand her hesitation since everyone's body is so different.

Any suggestions??

Would you be willing to make a refund if it doesn't fit and there's no damage? Take a million pictures so you can check every detail if she needs to return the dress.

Is there someone in NY here that you are friendly with on the boards that you would trust with your dress. And who would also bring the dress to the girl so she can try on?

This might be a good idea but I wouldn't want to have to pay for it to be shipped to New York. The buyer would have to pay for that and then I could have someone in my family bring it to her to try on. (I have a lot of family in NY)

Putting the word refund on the table just makes me nervous. I'd like to avoid that if I can.
