I need design help!

We're going to be finishing our basement soon and I cannot decide what color scheme I want. We have two small windows but that is it on natural lighting. We will be doing a medium colored tan rug on the floor. Any suggestions for a wall color and accent colors? Pictures would be wonderful. I'm been browsing around online but haven't seen anything I like yet.
